Erro

Project

Erro is a photographic series centered around a DJ whose role within electronic music culture can be interpreted as ritualistic rather than performative. Drawing parallels between contemporary club culture and ancient communal practices, the project approaches the DJ as a mediator who channels collective energy through sound.

Sound plays a central role in the construction of the images. The lighting of each scene is carefully aligned with the spatial position of sound sources, following the logic that sound, like light, propagates through space. By placing light where sound originates, the photographs visualize the otherwise invisible movement and distribution of audio within the environment.

Rather than documenting a performance, Erro focuses on atmosphere, presence, and spatial experience. The images translate auditory structures into visual ones, emphasizing rhythm, intensity, and direction. Through this approach, the series explores how contemporary electronic music environments function as sites of collective focus, where sound, space, and body momentarily align.
